Each field trip reservation requires a minimum of 20 students participating and will last between 1 hour and 1½ hours. Field trips need to be booked no less than one month before the trip day. A final number on students attending needs to be given to DuBuisson Gallery employees at minimum 5 days before field trip, to ensure all supplies are available. All supplies are included for every option of field trip.

The packages listed below are most commonly chosen; however, we can accommodate virtually any request for an art project. DuBuisson Gallery is the place to have field trips for:

Option 1: Sketching
Cost: $10.00/child
Each student will receive their own pencil, eraser and sketchbook to take home. We will hire one artist per group of 25 students to provide instruction on various forms of sketching.
Option 2: Ceramic Painting
Cost: $10.00/child
Each student will have a ceramic piece that they get to paint. We encourage teachers to let us know what the children are studying and we will try to correlate the ceramic pieces with their studies. Each child will also decorate a bag to take home their ceramic piece in.
Option 3: Acrylic Painting on Canvas
Cost: $12.00/child for Kindergarten through 3rd graders; $15.00/child for 4th through 8th graders
Each student will use acrylic paints on a 12 x 12 canvas to create their own masterpiece! Our artist will go through step-by-step instructing the children. The artist we hire will create a painting unique to each field trip. The painting can pertain to a theme, or a subject that the teacher requests. Cost is adjusted based on age groups due to the fact that the difficulty level will change and the painting will be more complex.
